Motorcycle Inspection in Poughkeepsie, NY

Dutchess Recreational Vehicles is a licensed New York State motorcycle inspection station. We are here to accommodate your needs and make sure you stay happy, legal, and most importantly, safe.  PLEASE NOTE, NYS HAS IMPLEMENTED A NEW COMPUTER SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING INSPECTIONS, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT EACH INSPECTION WILL NOW TAKE A MINIMUM OF 15 MIN. TO PERFORM, AND IF THERE ARE PEOPLE AHEAD OF YOU PLEASE PLAN ON APPROX A 30 MIN WAIT.

The hours for inspections are as follows:
     Tuesday:  3 p.m.- 5 p.m.

• Wednesday-Friday: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

Saturday's may be scheduled with the service department based on availability.
 

The cost of an inspection is $6, cash/credit/debit accepted.

Proof of ownership/registration is required. Please make sure to bring a VALID New York State registration card with you. Remember NYS motorcycle registrations expire 4/30 of every year.

We will not perform inspections in the rain or after dark, so please take that into account.
